Shipping & Ordering Information


Shipping charges are based on the following:

  • How much your item weighs
  • Where your item is being shipped

You can estimate your shipping charges on the Shopping Cart page and final shipping costs are displayed on the Complete Checkout page before you submit your order. After reviewing the page, you can submit your order.


All orders being shipped to Canada will incur a USD 22.00 brokerage fee as well as an additional GST (Goods & Services Tax) according to the chart below. The GST will apply to all billed items including item charges, freight charges and brokerage fees.

For example, if you purchase an item that costs $5.00 and you want to ship it standard UPS Ground to Nova Scotia, you will be charged $8.50 for shipping, $22.00 for the brokerage fee and an additional 15% of the total charges for GST. That would total $40.83.

Expedited shipping options, including next day or 2nd day delivery, are NOT available for orders being shipped to Canada. 


Orders will be shipped on business days only (Mon - Fri) excluding federal holidays within the United States. Orders must be received and your credit card authorized by 12:00 PM EST or your order will not be processed until the following business day. This applies to all shipping methods including Next Day and 2nd day delivery.


We do our best to accurately estimate when items will ship from our facility. All orders will be processed and leave our facility within two business days. Orders must be received by 12:00 PM EST in order to be processed the same day of receipt. Orders received after 12:00 PM EST will be processed on the next active business day.


To determine the date you'll receive your order, use the following calculation:
(Order Processing Time) + (Shipping Method*) = Estimated Days to Delivery
*Shipping Method is defined as UPS-Ground


UPS Ground takes approximately 3 - 7 business days. Weekend delivery is available at an additional charge. If you require weekend delivery please contact Britax Consumer Services at 1-888-4BRITAX (Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 4:45pm EST or Fri 8:30am - 3:45pm EST).


Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we will notify the intended recipient and work to reach a resolution.


  • Incorrect or Out-of-date Address
  • P.O. Box Format: When entering a post office box as a shipping address, please be sure to enter it as "PO BOX" followed by the number. Otherwise, it may mistakenly be sent through a carrier that won't deliver to those addresses.
  • Other Address Problems: Some organizations have strict delivery restrictions for their residents. These rules are determined independently and may vary.
  • Illegible Label: In rare cases, it is also possible that the address became illegible during the shipping and handling process.


Your Order Status is supplied by BRITAX, and represents what is happening with your order between the time that you place it and the time that it ships from our facility. Once your order leaves our facility, it is handled by a carrier (such as UPS) that may provide Tracking Information which will allow you to keep track of your order from the time it leaves our facility to the time it reaches its destination. If you provided an email address when placing your order, you will receive notification when your order has shipped as well as be supplied with a tracking number.
